Ik heb mini CMS nu op een nieuwe site geinstalleerd. Alles werkt naar
behoren, echter wanneer ik een afbeelding wil uploaden of een map wil
aanmaken krijg ik de foutmelding: Upload failed. No permissions.
Alle FTP instellingen staan naar mijn weten goed, ook de map is &^^
geCHMOD.
Weten jullie het probleem? |

Ondertussen heb het CMS systeem zover gekregen dat de
afbeeldingen geupload worden. Dit door define('ftp','0'); in
te stellen. (Stond op 1)
Echter heb ik nu een nieuw probleem. Alle afbeeldingen die
ik upload worden niet weergegeven, enkel een kruis. Ook
worden de afbeeldingen weggeschreven als src="img_0031.jpg",
ze moeten weggeschreven worden als:
src="../aanbiedingen/img_0031.jpg". Hoe kan ik dat laatste
instellen?
En waarom worden de foto's nu wel geupload, maar zijn ze
niet zichtbaar?
Ik zou graag horen hoe dit opgelost kan worden.

Hoi Marco,
Kan je de inloggegevens (CMS/FTP) van de betreffende website
via het contactformulier naar ons toesturen? Wij kunnen dan
onderzoeken waar het misgaat. Het klinkt alsof de paden niet
goed staan ingesteld.

Ik heb hetzelfde probleem: plaatjes worden niet als preview
weergegeven. Wat was het probleem bij Marco? Dan kan ik het
hier mss ook oplossen.

I install MiniCMS on a development section of the site, like www.mysite.nl/ontwikkel
When the site is ready I want to 'move' the complete content and the
cms folder to the root of the site.
How do I achieve this and I mean setting paths in config.php,
license...

Simple way would be.
First move the site and remove the cms. Go to your minicms
admin panel and empty the url field. Now install the cms
again on the new url with the wizzard |

Yes that is possible. Just watch out with the paths, you
have to change them all. Besides that you also still have to
empty the URL field in your MiniCMS admin panel. Otherwise
the license won't work. |

can we use an existing page and 'save as' naming it as a new page,
thereby creating a new page?? |

Yes.
You can set this option in the comfig.
# Save a page as. You can disable the "Save As..." button by
setting this option to 0.

hmmm. it didn't change anything.
I have the config.php file set this way now:
# Save a page as. You can enable the "Save As..." button by

and I uploaded the file but nothing changed within the
admin. What is wrong? Should I look different? |

I found it now, however in IE8 it won't let me type in a
new file name. It's ok in google chrome, but you might want
to check ie8, at least I'm having an issue with it. |

We will have a look at the IE8 issue.
For now just use the ie7 compatibility mode and you are
okay
A new version is coming and there I don't see any problem
in IE8 |

Just tested this function in IE8 and I don't see any
problems.
After activating this button in the config the icon will
appear next to the save button in the wysiwyg.
After clicking this button an orange border will appear
around the file name. Change the filename and click on the
save button and the new page will be made. This function
only works when you have filled in the ftp settings
during setup. |

My client tries to enter $600 but when saved only leaves a zero.
If the dollar sign is left out, then 600 will appear. Seems the dollar
sign is being seen as a code. I'm using the below meta info for
charset.
This would seem like an odd thing to not be able to use the
dollar sign.

This is because the dollar sign is an special character.
We will solve this in our next update.
For now you can solve it yourself
Open /cms/editor/scripts/characters.htm in notepad or any
other text software.
Now you will have to choose which character you don't want
to use and replace one of the lines with the dollar sign
decimal Code $
If you can't see this line I can sent you an email |

I replaced one of the character sets with $ which put
the dollar sign in the grid. Here is what I changed:

I purchased about 6 licenses over the last year and have been very
happy with minicms. One question though...is there a way to preview
the page as it will appear before it actually is published live. I
can preview the text I've edited but it won't display it in the whole
site page unless I click on the little "world icon' at which time the
changes are then live.
