I installed MiniCMS but it doesn't see any folders or files. I must be
doing something wrong obviously. |

Since you didn't give any specs about what could be wrong
send us an private email with the url of the installed
minicms and the ftp username, pass and settings so we can
have a look |

Ik wil graag MiniCMS aanschaffen, maar de webserver waar ik het op wil
gebruiken ondersteunt geen PHP, is dat een probleem?

Dit CMS lijkt een prima oplossing voor kleine bedrijven. Ik vind het
ook niet erg dat er maar 1 inlogmogelijkheid is, maar het is wel
gevaarlijk dat je vanaf diverse computers tegelijkertijd kunt inloggen
en dingen veranderen. Zouden jullie hier een soort beveiliging kunnen
inbouwen in een volgende update, dus dat je een melding krijgt dat er
al iemand anders is ingelogd en je er nu niet aan kan werken of zo
iets?
Of is dat heel ingewikkeld? |

Dit CMS is ook een goede oplossing voor grotere bedrijven.
Je hebt alleen inderdaad niet de mogelijkheid om bestanden
tijdelijk 'vast te zetten', als je met meerdere personen de
inhoud wilt wijzigen op de website. Dit moet je dan intern
communiceren. Dit kan niet ingebouwd worden aangezien het
een flat-file CMS is en niet database gestuurd. Als je dit
soort data nu wilt opslaan, zal je extra bestand(en) moeten
aanmaken op de server. Dit kan dan weer
schrijfrechten-problemen veroorzaken als je de FTP functie
niet wilt gebruiken. Het is dus
niet haalbaar met dit CMS. We zijn wel grotere CMS-paketten
aan het ontwikkelen waar dat wellicht wel in
wordt verwerkt. |

I found out that minicms is not supported by Safari on the Mac. Is
there a way to work around this problem? Cheers |

Safari does not support a wysiwyg editor :-( |

At this moment our used WYSIWYG innovaStudio is not
supporting Safari.
TinyMCE has an experimental version at this moment so
perhaps in the future when the WYSIWYG editors are more
evolving it is possible that Safari will be supported.
For now use Mozilla or Firefox on a mac of linux |

hwo do users work in MiniCMS?
Is there a SuperAdmin user who creates an Editor User?
How many Editor Users can there be?

Hai Pangdene,
There is no user system.
Only one config file in which you can fill in one name
and pass. |
